A reflection for every day of the year: one question to carry with you, a short reflection, and one small thing to practice.
Recovery happens one day at a time, and these reflections are written to match. Each one takes about a minute to read. Many people read the day's reflection in the morning and come back to the question at night, or bring it to a meeting or a call with their sponsor.
Each month centers on one of the Twelve Steps, a custom many AA meetings follow: January on Step One, February on Step Two, and so on through December. Days that tend to be hard in sobriety, like the holidays, St. Patrick's Day, and the Fourth of July, get reflections of their own.
What's the simplest way I could begin a daily practice?

Step Eight: relationships and willingness
Step Nine: making amends
Step Ten: daily inventory and change
Step Eleven: prayer, meditation, and gratitude
Step Twelve: service and the holidays
